Automatic gross weighing super sack filling unit

The super sack loader FlowMatic® 04 model is the complete solution for the automatic packaging with gross weighing for bulk bag, fibc, super sack, jumbo bag (dosing/packaging/conveying). This model is designed for continuous operation at very high flow. The bulk bag filler FlowMatic®04 is fitted with all the options necessary for conditioning with minimal human intervention: containment inflating seal, height adjustable structure via a controlled pneumatic cylinder, bulk bag pre-forming fan, weighing (dosing) of the big bags, optional commercial weighing, vibrating table for densification, pallets unstacker, handling conveyor...  normes atex certified palamatic process

Ergonomics for increased production capacity:

  • Big bag filling and gripping  rotating head to facilitate the setting up of the handles of the big bag without having to move
  • Double envelope filling tube to ensure balancing of volumes and thus avoid emanation of dust in the atmosphere

Equipments included in the super sack loader model Flowmatic ® 04:

loader pallets palamatic process

Pallet unstacker on super sack filling line: implementation of the pallets (wood / plastic) is performed performed fully automatically through the pallets unstacker.
Pallet destacker: implementation of the pallets (wood / plastisque) is performed performed fully automatically through the destacker pallets. The unstacker device ensures, via a motorized roller conveyor, feeding of the filling unit in pallets. The size of the pallets supported by the unstacker is flexible, the spacing of the indexing pins are adjustable to different formats.

Roller conveyor: a series of motorized roller conveyors ensures the transfer of the empty pallets and of the big bags when filled. Conveyors positioned at the exit of the filling station are fitted with position sensors to ensure a buffer storage of big bags.

Supporting structure: the supporting structure of the big bag is manually adjustable in height for greater flexibility.

Automatic release of the big bags: four articulated hooks are located on the structure. The pneumatic cylinder actuated by the controller drives the tilting of the hook at the end of dosing.

Inflating seal: the connecting inflating seal ensures complete sealing of the bulk bag during its filling.

Filling head: the filling head is double envelop designed and allows the balancing of the volumes. The air charged is discharged via the degassing line which can be connected to the dedusting network.

tension cylinder

Tension cylinder for big bag: the big bag filling unit integrates on the back of the structure a pneumatic cylinder to adjust the tension of the big bag. It allows the positioning at an ergonomic height of the big bag handles, ensuring a perfect shape with constant tension throughout the conditioning phase.
At the beginnig of the cycle, the filling starts with the big bag in a high position to be then laid on a pallet as soon as the load reaches 200 kg. This design enables perfect filling of the big bag and stability to guarantee safe handling without any risk of tipping.

Shaping of the big bag: the fan, fitted on the main structure, ensures the shaping of the bulk bag.
It facilitates the filling of big bags fitted with an inner liner (PE or aluminized).
A by-pass valve completes the aeraulic line for degassing fines, captured by the double envelope tube during the conditioning phase.

Vibrating table: in order to deaerate the product, a vibrating table with two electric motors optimizes the filling.

Integrated dosing / weighing on fibc filling unit: we incorporate load cells and operator interface for packaging big bags in a very precise way. Our bagging systems ensure you commercial weighing. Protected integration of the load cells warrants to you excellent lifetime of the equipment.
Additional options specific to big bags weighing such as Profibus communication mode or weighing ticket printing can be integrated. Our partners are: Precia Molen, Sartorius, Master-K, Mettler Toledo, Philips, Siemens, Vishay Nobel.

Platform for operator: the operator works to a single function: the implementation of the bulk bag. The whole platform is designed to offer ergonomics and safety: storage area for the empty big bags, tilting of the rails for closer access to the points of interface, touch screen for the installation control.

Big bag covering

At the output of super sacks filling unit, an automatic hooder provides final containment of big bag on its pallet.
The feeding of the super sack is performed by a motorized conveyor.

Mat laying

A post for laying mat is located between the unstacker and the filling unit. It enables the automatic positioning of a mat (cardboard or PE film) on the empty pallet, prior to filling. This post is a necessary complement for maximum containment of the super sack and meets the quality standard of many industries.

Bonding strips are fitted to the entire system. A rapid connexion point allows the grounding of the big bags carrying an equipotential bonding of the whole unit.

Once the big bag is filled, it is evacuated and the sleeve is closed. A thermo-welding system allows the realization of a tight seal of the big bag, by the action of heating claws on the internal bag of the fibc. Welding technologies are adaptable according to the characteristics of the bulk bag (aluminum inner liner).

Rotating head to hang the loops of the big bag

Powder handling system allowing the ergonomic positioning of the empty big bag. Designed with a high bearing resistance, a simple rotation (180 ° / 180 °) of the hanging system allows the operator to position the 4 handles of the big bag from his workstation.

The automatic release of the handles, once the big bag filled, completes the system. This equipment is particularly suitable for high cadences packaging.

The contained whole system includes the big bag pre-forming fan allowing use in harsh environments also subject to strong hygiene constraints.
