The Palamatic Process double screw feeder type D14 is a high-performance dosing solution designed to ensure optimal precision and great flexibility in powder processing. With a twin-screw system and integrated unloading shaft, this feeder guarantees a homogeneous flow of products, thus avoiding bridging and segregation of raw materials.
Thanks to its double dosing screw, it allows a wide flow range:
- A large screw, available in diameters of 120 mm, 150 mm or 200 mm, ensures fast filling with a high flow rate.
- A small 30 mm screw, dedicated to fine adjustments, guarantees extreme precision with a tolerance of ±2 g.
This dispenser is specially designed for processes requiring batch dispensing. It is particularly recommended for the food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and any application requiring precise and repeatable dispensing.

Operating procedure
The D14-type twin-screw feeder operates on the principle of volumetric and gravimetric dosing, enabling precise regulation of flow rates for homogeneous feeding of the downstream process.
Feeding and homogenization
The raw material is introduced into the hopper of the feeder.
An integrated unloading shaft ensures constant mixing to prevent the formation of arches and guarantee regular feeding of the dosing screw.
High-speed dosing
The large dosing screw (Ø120, 150 or 200 mm) rotates at high speed to achieve fast filling and reach the desired flow rate.
Fine adjustment and precision
When the target weight is approached, the large screw stops. The small dosing screw (Ø30 mm) takes over for the final adjustment, guaranteeing precision of ±2 g.
A pneumatic shut-off valve at the outlet ensures a clean cut of the flow of material at the end of the fine dosing.
