Loading dust in big bags
This customer is one of the largest tobacco and cigarette producers in the world.
Two pipes feed tobacco dust from the storage hopper to the big bag filling station:
- A pipe equipped with a pneumatically operated butterfly valve on the right pipe for high flow big bag filling
- A metering screw on the left pipe for adjusting the flow rate with the conveying screw.
The FlowMatic® 04 bulk bag filling station provides tight packaging for all types of powder, limits dust emissions and automates the evacuation of the bulk bag.
The bulk bag filling station is fitted with a filling head with inflatable seal and clamping ring to ensure a tight connection of the bulk bag.
The double-walled filling and hanging tube allows volume balancing during filling and maximum containment by connecting to the dust collection network.
The bulk bag is hooked onto the structure by means of automatic pneumatic hooks that allow the bulk bag to be held during filling and the bulk bag to be automatically released after filling.
