The customer is a manufacturer of compounds for various domains of applications: buildings, cables, piping, technical profiles, automotive, food industry, etc.
After the installation of a formulation and extrusion line, our customer, a specialist in PVC compounds and polymer composite materials, required the packing of its finished product - polymer composite materials - in 800 kg big bags under a homogenization silo. This 30 m³ silo ensures the storage of a homogeneous production by continuous mixing and stirring.
The big bag filling system controls the rotary dosing valve.
The selected model is a FlowMatic® 03 big bag conditioning system integrating the big bag shaping.
The densification of the product by a vibrating table and an operator walkway providing access for closing the big bag sleeve.
The big bag is placed from the ground thanks to the mobile design of the packaging head.
This solution ensures ergonomics and safety of operation, as the operator does not have to access the platform to place the empty big bags.
