A major French industrial group manufacturing cosmetics products wanted to install a new production line in its workshop.

This new set includes 2 EasyFlow® big bag emptying systems with stripping box and handling frame. The external parts are made of 304L stainless steel. The big bag is placed using a forklift truck, handling the big bag placed in a frame. This frame is grabbed via handling openings located in the lower part. The big bag is held in the frame by its handling loops. At the outlet of the big bag discharger, a knife gate valve is used to isolate the hopper for maintenance operations.

The design of the complete system and the respect of the operating mode by the operator ensure a continuous feeding of the extruder.
These EasyFlow® big bag emptying systems feed a 180 liter buffer hopper via two dense phase vacuum pneumatic conveying systems. The conveying cyclones are positioned from above the hopper of the screw feeder. A centralized dust collector ensures a clean working atmosphere and avoids any external contamination. The maximum flow rate of the installation is 1,000 l./h.
