BIG BAG FILLING - Confined packaging for all types of big bags

The big bag filling machines are also named big bag packing machines. Palamatic Process designs big bag filling machines for the treatment of bulk and powdery products that can be perfectly integrated upstream or downstream of existing process lines. The FlowMatic® 01 big bag filling machine has filling capacities ranging from 10 to 20 big bags per hour and only one operator is required for its operation.
This model is an effective solution for the simple packaging of bulk products.

The airtight connection of the filling sleeve with an inflatable seal offers an airtight packaging of all types of big bags. The big bag removal can be conducted with a forklift truck or a handling pallet.

U-shaped forks: enables the removal of the big bag with the forks (optional)

Equipment integrated to FLOWMATIC model 01:
- Big bag loops round hooking forks: provides easier sliding of the big bag handles.
- U-shaped forks for attaching the handles of the big bag: enables the removal of the big bag directly from the handles with a forklift truck (no use of pallets).
- Support structure: the structure is manually height adjustable so it can be adapted to any type of big bag.
- Width adjustment: the center distance of the forks is width adjustable to optimize the filling operation but provides an increased stability of the flexible container on the pallet.
- Inflatable seal: The inflatable seal ensures an airtight connection between the filling head and the big bag during its filling.
- Filling head: the filling head is designed in a double casing for volume balancing. The charged air is evacuated through the degassing line which can be connected to the dedusting network.

    Connection under sleeve

    This equipment ensures a completely airtight connection for the big bag. The diameter is defined depending on the big bag or of the tightening ring.

    Conveyor

    The big bag placed upon the pallet is evacuated by a motorized roller conveyor, thus optimizing production.

    Hook - Handle

    The equipment can be designed to accommodate big bags 1 handle big bags. A specific maintenance hook enables the positioning of the handle. This hook is set up on the height adjusting deck, thus keeping the system’s flexibility.

    A curved feeding tube completes the system allowing to preserve a straight base on the big bag, ensuring an optimal filling.

    Automatic big bag release

    Four articulated hooks are installed on the big bag reception deck. The automaton activated pneumatic cylinder controls the tilting of the hook at the end of the dosing process.

    Pallet unstacker

    In order to automate the big bag filling station, we propose the installation of an automatic pallet unstacker.
    The stacked pallets are stored in the warehouse, then feed one by one the big bag packing machine via a motorized conveyor.

    Load cells

    We incorporate load cells and an operator interface which ensure that the big bags are packed very accurately.
    Our bagging systems ensure you a commercial weighing. The protected integration of the load cells ensures an excellent service life of the equipment.

    Additional options specific to big bag weighing such as communication in profibus mode or printing a weighing ticket can be integrated.

    Our weighing partners are: Precia Molen, Sartorius, Master-K, Mettler Toledo, Philips, Siemens, Vishay Nobel.

    Grounding clamp

    Mass braids equip the entire station. A quick connection point allows the grounding of the big bags, thus creating an equipotential connection of the unit.

    Platform

    It facilitates access to the upper part of the big bag filling machine to allow the closing of the bagging head of the flexible container.

    Internal bag welding machine

    Once the big bag is filled, it is evacuated to the cuff closing station. A thermo-welding system allows the big bag to be sealed tightly by the action of heated jaws on the inner bag. Welding technologies can be adapted according to the characteristics of the big bag (aluminum inner bag).

    In order to deaerate the product, a vibrating table activated by two electric motors optimizes the filling of the big bag.
