Our client is a manufacturer of milk proteins for sports and pharmaceutical nutritional supplements (energy powder for athletes).

Established in Eastern Europe, this company was looking to reduce the particle size of the final product with a homogeneity of the granulometric spectrum (narrow distribution curve).
This factor characterizes the spread of the particle size distribution, defined by: span = (d90-d10)/50

Palamatic Process supplied a powder conveying installation by cyclonic vacuum suction to feed the UM160 pin mill.
The industrial mill ensures the granulometric reduction by a speed of 12500 rpm. The recuperation of the ground product is ensured by a collecting hopper.
