Automatic bag opening process

DePalSack®'s set of solutions automatically depalletizes and empties bulk bags. A line of motorized roller conveyors transfers and stores pallets of bags. The depallatizer robot follows the recipe entered into the PLC program and places the product bags on the conveyor belt. The automatic bag opening machine feeds the downstream process and automatically evacuates and compacts empty bags.

Operating mode

The operator loads the entry conveyors with pallets of unwrapped seed bags. It scans the reference that is automatically reconciled in our supervision program. Robust conveyor belts with motorized rollers carry and store pallets safely.

The scanning device of the depalletization robot analyzes the pallet. It controls the size of the seed bags on the pallets. The robotic arm takes the bags one by one and places them on the feeding mat of the automatic bag opening machine. The bags are ideally placed to ensure their proper opening. The robot eliminates the risk of error and limits MSDs to the depalletization station.

The seed bags enter the Minislit automatic bag opening system®. Its self-adaptive system allows the feed of a large variation in the dimensions of bags. Its unique bag flipping system allows the bags to be almost completely emptied, keeping product loss negligible.

Empty bags are automatically evacuated via a compacting screw in a high-density PE liner. A monobloc compactor can be adapted as an output to have more storage capacity for waste and facilitate their recovery.

Empty pallets are automatically evacuated and stacked according to their size.

Depalletizer

The depalletizer fits the needs of manufacturers requiring emptying a pallet to put their products back online. This solution has several interests:

•    Feed a process line
•    Unloading of several ingredients for mixing
•    Supply a dispersing station
•    Transfer out of a quarantined area (i.e. clean room)

Flexible and versatile, our depalletizer is designed around a poly-articulated robot. It has grippers adapted to your depalletization needs: taken by unit, row or layer. This robotic cell has optional pallet and insert stackers.
