Loading of fly ash

Objective: discharging of fly ash from storage silos for bulk truck loading.

The client, a thermal power plant for the treatment of household waste, wanted to upgrade their bulk loading station. The objectives were to inter-connect the silo outlets and make the operation a cleaner process by better material and dust containment methods.
Palamatic Process integrated specific telescopic loaders for abrasive products, such as ash or cement, and conveyors to connect the different silo outlets.
The truck loading spout is fitted with inner cones and filter bags, essential options for ash handling.
Due to the abrasive  and low density nature of the powdery ash, the equipment required robust features for installation.
The positioning of the truck under the telescopic loader is facilitated by a set of sensors and access gangways to allow loading operations to commence.

This installation provide the required solution for a safe and efficient loading operation with no dust emissions. The tanker trucks, once filled, leave the plant site clean and with no risk of external pollution.
