A semi-automatic contained bag dump station ideal for food, pharmaceutical and chemical applications. This machine minimizes the operator's interference and guarantees a dust-free working environment.
To establish a hybrid design between the manual bag dump and the automatic bag dump, Palamatic Process offers the SAS® bag dumper station which has a semi-automatic bag deconditioning system. It is ideal for food, pharmaceutical and chemical applications where mixing processes are frequent. This machine limits the operator's action to a simple bag placement and avoids exposure to potentially hazardous ingredients.

Operation procedure:
1. Open the door mounted on gas cylinders, place the bag on the removable table and close the door
2. The holding bar is lowered into position and the automatic cutting blade opens the bag
3. The bags contents are emptied via the folding plates
4. The empty bag is evacuated through the ejector bar to the bag compactor, which provides waste volume reduction and containment of residual dust within a polyethylene sheath.

This machine is designed for the semi-automatic opening of all types of bags (except aerosils) by limiting the operator's gesture to a simple placement of the bag. Any fines and dust are containment within the machine by the following design features: fully sealed door, integrated bag compactor for package waste, and connection to dust collection network (an integrated dust collection unit is available as an option). The SAS semi-automatic bag dump station guarantees a dust-free environment and avoids product exposure to the operator.
